Seems like some Tory MPs have a lot more sense than their Supporters on AnswerBank.

Question Author

It must be upsetting for the Tory voters though .Those people who voted for these Tory MPs who have, and those that intend to switch sides..Suddenly find they voted Labour. Oh dear Oh dear.

Question Author

Two of these Tory defectors are ex Tory cabinet ministers Oh dear

There's nothing unusual in rats leaving a sinking ship.

sandyRoe 10.37 .They should be made to walk the plank .

.........There are plenty of planks in the Tory Party...........

It is unlikely that anyone defecting will be allowed to cpntest tneir seat for Labour, this close to an election. The Labour Party will already have a candidate selected. But a Conservative could be offered a job in a new Government if Labour were to win the election. Or be given a Peerage.

Looks like ToryLite is getting a relaunch and rebrand. It worked for Blair (even Naomi voted Labour then). Do you not worry that Starmer has moved the Labour Party so far to the right that even Tory MPs want to be in it.

You may elect someone who has a big red rosette on, but a blue heart.

Question Author

Would not surprise me if Cameron Defected .Think he want's to keep his job. Just imagine Cameron wearing a Red Rosette and saying to his fellow Tories come on over We're all in this Together

Labour in 2019 had big red rosettes -  but very blue hearts after the election. We don't want a repeat

//It worked for Blair (even Naomi voted Labour then). //

Naomi always voted Labour until her one time vote for Blair.  Experience of his leadership taught her to vote Conservative.

Gromit 10,52, So even Naomi switched Allegiance ...mmm  that's interesting.Thanks.

Gulliver, you don't seem to have understood what I said.  Naomi did indeed switch allegiance - from Labour to Conservative.  I hope that's not too difficult for you.

Question Author

11.40 Oh yeah I understood what you said alright... OK.

Jolly good.

These are the dying days of the Johnson election. I knew it would all end in tears for those that voted for him eventually. He will no doubt try to make a come back as a knight in shining armour.

.............Beware the next time..

Question Author

Wonder what Thatcher would have thought about these Cons jumping Ship ...She would have probably joined them. hahaha.

Question Author

There are whispers going around the commons that JRM is one of the MPs thinking of jumping ship..I hope not .

On the plus side one can continue to not vote Labour and have the added benefit of not voting Conservative !

Gulliver. As I said on another your rantings, your postings would have a lot more credence if you included some evidence of your statements.

When you do I will take your rantings a little more serious, until then they will be treated as empty wind.

Question Author

OG 12.26 Think you are right. The biggest problem at the GE is going to be people not voting at all.
