I need a new tumble dryer (without Hose). Can anyone recommend one. Not too cheap and not too dear! If you can't recommend one can you let me know one's NOT to buy.
Hi aussie, I got a second hand one for 30 from a local shop, but I wasn't too fussy as it is in an outhouse. Had it three years and it is still going strong. Whatever you get I would recommend one with a reverse action as it dries clothes faster and with less creases. cheers skylight
thanks skylight. Hand my old one (creda) for about 20 years and has just given up the ghost. But reading the reviews on the credas are not very good. The dont make them like they used too. Oh my god, i sound like my mother!
Hi again auzzie, Thats funny, my last one was a creda too and lasted 15 years. Seemingly if you can get 5 years from one now you are doing ok!! Same goes for cookers etc. Sstruth you've got me sounding like my mother now!!!!!!! cheers skylight
Hi auzzie we bought a kenwood tumble dryer (no hose) from currys about a year ago for 200 and it works brilliantly. Previous to that we had an indesit and it went wrong about 12 times in the year we had it. Hope this helps.
Have had a Hotpoint model for about 8 years and very happy with it, although I only use it in the winter for drying heavy items. I seem to remember that originally it came with a hose, but I've never used it as the dryer is located immediately adjacent to my kitchen door and when drying a load I leave the door open a little to prevent the kitchen getting steamed up. Can't be bothered with all these accessory gadgets.
