I have found for quite some time that when the oul hearing is in and I am very very near the TV either upstairs or downstair I can hear clear words and I am amazed.

Now the words are clear because the speakers are at the back of the TVs and that is not too good for the deaf.

Does anybody know of a good TV with front facing speakers TV cos I think I will hear better with them  Any make any body

If your hearing aid has Bluetooth capability (and your TV set also has), you should be using that to get the sound from your TV to your hearing aid.

If not, consider buying a sound bar for your telly.  It will give you clearer audio than your TV set's built-in speakers, with forward-facing speakers too.

Whatever you decide on though, do go into your TV set's settings to adjust the audio output to the way that you like it.  (The manufacturers expect everyone to do that when they install their new TV sets but it's amazing how many people just stick with the default settings!)

if your hearing is amazing and you can hear clear words, why do you want to change it?

because sitting behind the screen gives a better audio experience but a sub-optimal visual one?

I recently bought a ZVOX sound bar - it's fantastic for improving the sound quality of the TV generally & speech specifically. It's adjustable for your own preferences & whatever programme type you're watching.
