Some info, Sandy.  She is currently doing three concerts in Edinburgh with crowds of about 73,000 watching from Murrayfield Rugby ground.  She travels in private jet and is staying, at the moment, in a £3 million house near the Beckhams.  Most of her fans are female teenagers.

She's okay, certainly can't see why she's a figure of such division. As Hazlinny said, she's extremely popular amongst young women, as she represents female empowerment in her songs. She writes or co-writes her own material, which is a plus and plays a few instruments. She's harmless. Popular, but harmless.

I'm reminded of my niece's daughter.  Years ago she was a great fan of Buffy the vampire slayer.

I guess it's no bad thing to have a powerful young woman as a role model.

I read she's a real 'Do you know who I am?' diva.  That's all I know about her.  I couldn't tell you what she sings and I wouldn't recognise her voice if I heard it.

My grandson and his fiancee stayed with me overnight on their way to Edinburgh to see Taylor Swift.  They're great fans and both are in their mid 20s.  Not someone I know though.

Absolutely, I wouldn't condemn her for parlaying her jiggy antics into a billion dollar entity, I just might not want ten year olds falling for the hype, all teeth, legs and bliss. 🙄

I'll celebrate my 77th birthday next week and like to think I've kept most of my wits intact.  But maybe I'm slowly edging into the evening of my days.

A sobering thought.

She writes catchy tunes, has sold a lot of them, is a good christian role model. I would have thought she would have gone down a storm on here, no swearing, no explicit lyrics, she uses a guitar and loves her parents.
