Chop up 500g of bramley apples, melt a large knob of butter in a frying pan, add three tablespoons of sugar and cook the apples until they're brown, but haven't yet fallen apart.
Glug about four tablespoons of Calvados over the apples, fold into the crepes together with vanilla or caramel ice cream.
Alternatively, buy two punnets of blueberries and gently heat them with four tablespoons of sugar in a pan until they begin to break down.
Fold them into the crepes then serve with vanilla ice cream.
Have a bowl of cold water and a sponge nearby when you server as blueberry stains are a killer.
Don't know any savoury recipes I'm afraid.
