Hi, I have a problem with my ipod. I can usually fix a problem myself, but I am not sure what to do with this one. Recently we had a power surge at home and it lew up a couple of electricals items. I can't remember if my ipod was plugged in on charge or not, so I have included this point as it might be relative to the problem. The problem being that my ipod has recently started to play up. The main problem is that it won't turn off when I want it to. Previous faults include not being able to get the menu up when I press the button, skipping tracks, backlight switching on without asking it to. I am reluctant to get a new one as this was a gift and has been personalised for me. I have had it almost 2 years, so I doubt I will even have a guarantee on it any more either. I don't know if this is relevant or not, but The day before it started mucking about I was asked to download the updated version of itunes. I have done this twice as the first time there was a fault. Can anyone help?I need my music!!! Thanks in advance.
