Facebook Weirdness

Wife's Facebook applet updated on her iPad this week along with a lot of other applets.

Now a couple of days later she is getting loads of notifications from groups she appears to be following but hasn't added herself. Some are football ones, Arab groups , but some are local ones linked to area such as following our MP.

She has been unfollowing the groups as she goes along.

Checked her activity logs and nothing out of the ordinary.

Security is all locked down also.

Anyone else had anything like this?

I can think of two possibilities:

1.  She has previously been invited to all these groups over timei and has refused/ignored but a glitch has sent the invitations again.

2.  She is on a list and is being targetted for reasons I cannot fathom.

@ Barry1010 - All very strange. Definitely a glitch somewhere.

Some of the groups are foreign language and no way she would have followed them or friends added her.
