A relative has a Kindle Fire. Few years old but it's telling her she is low on memory. 

I suggested an SD card but it's still giving her the same message.

Is there something she might have missed installing it. Obviously neither of us know what we're trying to do. 

Can anyone enlighten us please?

A card is fine but unless you move stuff from the mobile to the card the mobile will still have a full memory.l
