Iv'e been trying to play battlefield 2,but when the map loads,and sometimes when ive been playing for a while,it says that ive lost connection to the server...Why is this? i have tiscali broadband and usally connect between 4 and 6 mb.....please can someone help me??????????? is it my broadband supllier

Is it just on one server, or does this happen on any server?

no m8 it does it on them all plus i get a silly ping of anything between 200 and 400. and no m not downloading while im playing

Dont forget that Battlefield is run by EA Servers that are basically rubbish! I get this a lot too when i play Battlefield and i get thrown out of games and then cannot connect again for ages , EA are supposedly working on this but i havent seen any evidence of this!

There is a demo of battlefield 2142 available, I played that online over a 2Mb connection and it was fine.
You could give that a try, if its ok then you know the BF2 servers are not much cop.

could it be my broadband supplier?(tiscali) fault? i8 don't think there up too much?

Stevie , do you get problems when playing any other on-line games? If you do then it could be the way your broadband has been configured or problems with the ISP in this case Tiscali, also i know that some ISP's dont work well with Xbox 360 i know the old BT Voyager modems wouldnt let you join other Friends games etc and had connection problems too? I have to admit i dont know much about Tiscali and none of my friends are with them either?
