They are lovely jugs, but I am wondering why they have them out of sea water, will they not degrade very quickly?

I love finds like this. Imagine being the first person to see these artefacts after hundreds of years. Amazing.

I think it is wooden and iron artifacts degrade quickly when removed from Seawater. Glazed pottery and non ferous metals do not require such a careful intro to oxygenated air and sunlight.

The salvage teams and restorers will still have to urn their corn mind.
