What Do J S O Really Want?

Is it just rent a mob jumping on the latest hot topic or do they really want to stop using all oil products? If the latter we'd be going back to the stone age. Perhaps if they demonstrated how to live without oil products they'd get more understanding from the general public.

I think Andy is close.  China needs them....... I'm sure their antics would be understood and the Chinese government would give them 'gentle' re-education.  Us in the UK just allow them to continue and wreck peoples day.

Climate change is natural, not man-made. JSO can't do anything about that and neither can anyone else.

If you want a short insight into the mindset of these people, this is interesting:

I simply do not know how anybody can support these idiots. Europe has done more than any other continent to reduce emissions and the UK has done more than most European countries. 

I keep posting statisics about China on here and won't post too many more in this thread. But one fact is simple to grasp: China has, either in planning or construction, coal fired power stations which will increase its coal fired capacity by twenty times the entire capacity of the UK. The emissions from any new oil and gas production granted permission by the UK government (which is what JSO say they want to prevent) will be but a tiny fraction of this total amouning to nothing more than "noise".

Despite the committment to their cause, many of the JSO activists travel around the world on jolly japes. So the next time they do, they might stop off in China and glue themselves to the pavement in Tiananmen Square. When they've done that I might listen to them. Until they do, their claim that most people are with them in their cause needs to be fiercely rebuffed.

That woman sounds like untitled on the other threads on this. She seems to have a childlike view, clearly low intelligence. Notice how she just ignore's the indisputable facts that UK is already a top climate change responder and that anything we do is dwarfed by the big emmitters. She keeps going on about the oil companies making money, that seems to be her biggest problem.

What JSO want is for everyone to think like they do.

Accepting that others have a eight to a different view is part of being an adult.

Having the equivalent of a tantrum, is not.

And that is a matter for a democratically elected government to sort out, and it won't be done by childish vandalism and disruption from idiots who don'g grasp that major shifts in energy sources take time.

And in the mean time, we have to continue the way we are, and that's a fact unaltered by idiots and hooligans.
