Looks like SONG because you can "put down a track" [or song I guess] but I cannot parse the reference to Nancy or the small number. Is it Nancy Sinatra? Still don't get it....

Ummmmm.....you're going to have to explain that one to me Toorak. SANK sounds like CINQ and I suppose you could say that if you sank a boat you "put it down" but that's a bit tenuous. Cinq (5) is quite a small number but what does "Nancy" have to do with it?

Cinq is a French word, and French is spoken in Nancy.
