Happy Birthday, david. Just for you as you enjoyed it before.I was - and always will be - grateful to reach another birthday. Sadly many in my family and circle of friends did not attain 73 years. I believe the age we reach is not really so important but what we achieve in the time we are here. Carpe diem.

I thought the same as you Arksided, but here I am. You never know.

Well maybe... ðŸĪŠ

Ah David you're just a spring chicken!  I never count the years, just get on with life.

Question Author

More like a sprung chicken maggiebee;-) Strange how I’m less concerned with trivia of life than before.

It's a fact:

younger people will live longer than they expect to

older people will die sooner than they expect to

I seem to remember feeling slightly surprised.

for me: //Based on our calculations you will die on: Wednesday, 1st July 2026//

2 years to go then!

As my son always says in the morning "Another day more, another day less".  Agree David, can't be bothered with all the minutiae of life.  Things that used to annoy me just wash over these days.

I daren't use the death clock:-((

did you know that 73 is the only known Sheldonian prime?

It is the 21st prime number

If you multiply 7 x 3 you get 21

it's mirror 37 in the 12th prime number.

The binary for 73 is 1001001 which is is palindromic

37 and 73 are consecutive star numbers

....I could go on.

I hope that has cheered you  up!

According to the Death Clock, I have 16 years left.

I didn't think that I would make my current age of 60, there is no way that I can struggle on for 16 more years.

Well that's optimistic 57yrs... 11 months just after New years day 2030.

... I'll drink to that. ðŸŧ🍕🍗ðŸŧ ðŸĨģ

Well...well...well...

The death-clock says:

"You will live to be 91 years, 1 months and 27 days old!"

So that's another 31 years.

Excellent!!

I fear to look at the death clock.  It might say what am I still doing here,my time was up long ago.

Happy Birthday, david. Just for you as you enjoyed it before.

I have two year's left according to the death-clock. Suits me.😋

Four years ago, when I was 73, I met a group of Englishmen sitting outside an inn high in the Pyranees.  One of them told me he was 80 years of age.  He had a beaker of red wine in front of him and was hand rolling a Golden Virginia cigarette.

He looked to me to have been a man who had enjoyed a life well lived.
