Am Trying To Put My Signature At The End Of My Email

sorry for being so long of a title above - but just awake.  Anyway it tells you to go to settings  all settings      then down to signature   - find it all and put my signature - tried to send myself an email but didn't work - tried again and said you are not saving - go back and saved at the end of the page and again not working - what am I doing wrong.  thanks

Not all email systems are the same! 

Are you using a dedicated program to access your email account (such as the Windows Mail app, Outlook, Thunderbird, etc) or are you going via your web browser (such as Chrome, Edge, Firefox, etc) to get into your email provider's website?  (If it's the latter, what comes afterthe '@' symbol in your email address?)

Do you mean your written signature?

Or your name and address etc on all your outgoing emails?

sorry - i use gmail with browser chrome - that's all I can tell you Chris.  I am doing what I am told but somewhere allong the line in the settings I am not saving but to me I do save at the end of the page - mind you my name comes up on the Signature Bit - but as I say sent myself an email but no signature

chris - this is what it it says  Chrome Browser - in Gmail - go to settings - then go into all settings - roll down to Signature and there is a little box beside Signature so put my name there - roll on down and save but alas nothing happens -

Click the three dots at the top right of your screen in Chrome. 

Select 'Delete browsing data'.  

Ensure that 'Time range' is set to 'All time'.

Leave everything else as it is.  (i.e. accept the default settings).

Click 'Delete data'.

Try again to create a signature, following the instructions here:

I've just compared what you posted at 1913 with the video in my link at 1915.  You've not mentioned clicking on 'Create new', which might be where your problem lies.  (See the video to make sense of what I'm on about!)

can't find the dots in either gmail or chrome - I'm bloody hopeless  - have to go now Mr Maxie is breaking wind LOL

You can follow the first 5 lines of my post at 1915 at any time in Chrome.  (You don't need to be on the Gmail website).

To create your signature though, as per my link in that post, you'll need to be in Gmail.

Is there a little cog shaped symbol?  That should take you into settings.
