My brother was watching an England V Scotland match with his pals in a pub.

Scotland scored and, of course, he cheered.  I think he forgot he had moved to England and he was outnumbered.

Wales, Ireland and Scotland have always been bitter that but for a tiny act of geography they just missed out on being English. The undisputed no 1 nation of all time.

I feel the biggest difference between the English and the rest of the UK is the sense of humour.

Not praying, but hoping for England to crash out and give the radio, TV and us a bit of peace.  It is a huge overkill by TV. There are other sporting events needing coverage.  I suspect that very few people are interested in any match other than the ones England are involved in - or Scotland, Wales or Ireland (are the latter 2 in the tournament?).
