There was a song from the early to mid eighties possibly called 'This is not love'. The man has a dry northern accent and sings about leaving his girlfriend to start a new life. Some of the lyrics are :- 'This is not love, it's not life, it's not where it began, so tell the truth love - this is not a love story.' AND 'And what of me in 10 years time, when the neighbours stare and say - the coward, he left her.' AND - 'I don't care what they say, I'm getting out, I'm going my way, this is not a love story.' I would really appreciate it if anybody knows who sang this song. Many thanks.
