Happy Birthday, david. Just for you as you enjoyed it before.I was - and always will be - grateful to reach another birthday. Sadly many in my family and circle of friends did not attain 73 years. I believe the age we reach is not really so important but what we achieve in the time we are here. Carpe diem.

Trying to live for the now, instead the then, is challenging. I'm not overly fond of change. Progress can be a double edged sword.

Happy Birthday!! I achieved 73 last August, so am looking at 74.  Bit surprised that I got here, but pleased - even though this year so far has been blighted by broken hip, OH's malignant tumour etc.. We're emerging from it and I have plansand holidays booked.

I start a course on novel-writing next week and am 20,000h what we want to do words already into an historical one; also writing short stories (some published) and poetry (a new direction) which has got meinvited to a read at a Poetry Festival in Sept..

So 70 has really been 'just a number'.

OH was quite surprised to hit 90 last year - refused to wear the badge on a card - and, now 91, I am trying to persuade him to write an autobiography for his gt.-grandchildren.

Medical issues do get in the way - but you probably have years to go.   Don't like the sound of this death calculator.

So, basically the answer to the OPis 'How did that happen?  Oh, well, let's get on with what we want to do.

Hint - Life doesn't stop chucking problems at yout- life, kids, family problems etc..   Have fun!  :)

^^^  Hmm - computer moving words around again - sorry - you'll get the gist.

the calculator says you'll live longer in Australia.

That's if the salties, redbacks, taipans, great whites or wombats don't get you, I presume.

My D o D is April 27th 2039, according to that clock. On a previous occasion when I used the death clock, it said I had died 5 years before. I'm 76 next month but I intend to get past the predicted date and go on to be 100 not out. So far, I have no health issues. None, so lots to look forward to!

The death clock's only for killing time.

//the calculator says you'll live longer in Australia.//

***😒

Now I've got to be nice to people for longer than I expected to?

Not happy!!!

The grim reaper came for me in my bedroom last night, thankfully I was able to fight him off with the hoover. I was Dyson with death.
