Interested buying smart watch as I'm doing daily walks etc also check blood pressure... See in curry's samsung smart watches £2-300 mark.... Tiktok / ebay seen similar £20-30 like ok if cheap one breaks in a year I'll buy another, surely buying apple or Samsung your buying a brand

So any smart watch (or similar) that can genuinely measure blood pressure has to do so by using the type of calculation explained here:

At the moment, the only devices that seem to have really cracked the technology are the mega-expensive ones, such as FitBits. The cheapo ones simply aren't at all reliable.
With Apple, Samsung, Fitbit etc you are not just buying the brand. You are paying for the research and development that the cheap manufacturers don't do.
Also those brands have their reputations to maintain. If their product is shoddy, their whole business will collapse.
A £20 watch might look smart but it won't be reliable. I wouldn't even trust the battery in a cheap smartwatch.
