Wet Mobile phone

My son's Nokia mobile got wet and died - it wasn't totally immersed but just got wet in his pocket when it rained. Has had back off, battery and sim out in airing cupboard for a week but still dead.

Is there anything else I can do ? or just bin it ?

water damage will kill the phone,sell it on ebay as spares ,might get a tenner for it.

Which model phone is it?

if it is an expencive one �200 ish mark, then it may be worth saving by paying for a proffessional clean!

Certain insuracne companies pay out for water damage (not many though). Worth taking out a policy on the new one.
