Good Morning Wednesday Birds
Having probs with Wi-Fi this morn, no idea why lol.
Everyone have a good day planned? Weather ok here at the mo but rain and strong winds predicted for later on - no idea if we will get them here.
I wasn't entirely sure what time it was when I woke up - we have dark black out blinds in bedroom but have a teeny gap at edge that lets in a fraction of light - in height of the longest days/shortest nights in mid June as soon as it started to get light at about 4 am well then I knew if I woke up early just what time it was,but now that it gets light much later I don't know when I open my eyes if it's 6/ 6.30;etc..... there is a digital clock in room but I always turn it away from me as the light annoys me lol...

Long story short, I was sent for a heart scan as a recent (June) hospital visit which involved a chest X-ray/bloods ended with a fone call at home saying they were sure I was in early stages of heart failure. What!?? Thought I was hearing things! Has taken me this long to get scan results - got call at home yesterday to say scan results looked fine! So 2 months of insane worry for nothing??!
Morning HW - yes Barry, that's what I would have thought. Apparently June tests showed enlarged heart and fluid in both lungs(or did they!?). Julys heart scan, according to yesterdays call, shows perfect working heart. Ended up seeing my doctor at 6 pm lastnight who isn't happy with all of this and has re-ordered chest x ray and bloods for today (apparently a specific blood test shows heart failure, I don't know lol). Anyway, for someone who has never smoked, not overweight, thought I looked after myself ok, the whole idea of HF has been a terrible worry and shock, so have been on here annoying you lot to help distract myself lol.
Does not sound good, I always think the worst time is the waiting and worrying about what the outcome might be. When you get the answer, even if it is not good, you can start to deal with it and get treatment. Fingers crossed todays tests will still show all is well.
It is sunny and quite warm so will take advantage and get some work done in the garden today. Just put washig out and about to have a coffee.
It's a cooler morning here but the sun is shining and it looks as though it is here to stay for the day but who knows?
Smow .. have you had an ECG, the best indicator for heart failure
followed up by Echocardiogram and perhaps heart MRI? It's good that your doctor is re-ordering tests just to make sure. x
Morning ubasses/hazlinny. As anything to do with hearth is completely new to me so is terminology but seems I had an ECG(heart scan). Nothing showed up on that, not even this alleged enlarged from just a few weeks before!). So doc just wants to redo bloods and X-ray to see what shows up now. No wonder people with the money pay privately to get instant results lol!
Good morning Smow and all, and good luck Smow with the tests today - hope you get parked without too much trouble.
Considerably cooler here today. In fact I feel quite chilled and my fingers are white (Raynauds).
I have no plans for today other than to try and learn how to do basic crochet, something that has evaded me thus far in my life despite all the other crafts I have learned.
Have a good day everyone. 😀
