Found various threads to this in the Adverts section (replied to one of them) and I've got this niggle (you can get cream for it apparently), and it concerns the new Debenhams ad. A few people wanted to know the music that was used in the ad and most answers came back saying "Walk Don't Run". No probs with that, but all of them are saying it's The Ventures who are playing it. Now I could be wrong big time with this but when I first saw the ad and heard the music I thought "I've got that somewhere on a 45", but the version I have is by John Barry and this sounds more like the one they use in the ad. Any thoughts on this, anyone from Debenhams reading this...?

A probable possibility . Walk Dont Run has been covered by kloads of artists and rerecorded and rereleased several times by The Ventures themselves, but if you want the song the Ventures original should do for most people.

Thanx for the reply mikeydred, think yours is the link I listened to in one of the previous answers about this music, - still reckon it's John Barry though!
Not really familiar with the advert so can't put an informed opinion, but here's a link to the ventures version. Click the album on top left, then the tracks are shown.there is a version there. http://ventures.pl.ru/ I haven't found a link to John Barry seven version for you to compare
