Has any1 been on holiday 2 devon cliffs holiday park in Exmouth, Devon? Can you tell me if it's nice and has good entertainment etc. thanx

I grew up nearby and worked there for a few a summers. It depends what you are after. It's a large site with milions of mobile homes. It's fine for kids. Although being an ashamed snob, it's all very tacky to me. But certainly no worse than Pontins et al. Having said that, the beaches are fab and there is a lot to do nearby. It's a beautiful part of the world. When I worked there 10 years ago, There were several different bars and a caberet venue - All highly tacky. I went back last year it hadn't changed much. All that to say, there are no local pubs very near to the park, so you have to remain within the park. If you have young kids , I'm sure thay will love it. But at the end of the day, it always was a bit Hi-De-Hi. Hope this helps.
