I read a strange book recently by the guy who wrote about the Montauk experiments. In it he claimed that a hit single - i think it was Sky high by Jigsaw, won't play anymore as it was the result of a time travel experiment. Has anyone got the single? will it still play?has anyone else heard of bizarre experiments with 70s hit singles?

I've returned the book to the library now but it was called The Music of Time by Preston Nichols if anyone has access to it and can check details of the single.fairly sure it was by Jigsaw though.
Thats Weird, when I read this I didnt believe it. I found my copy of SKY HIGH, put it on my turntable and guess what ? No sound. This could prove the story is true, or there again, it may be that I broke my stylus a while ago and havent replaced it yet. DOH!

according to the author the music was sent back in time from the 80s or 90s and won't play anymore as it's gone past that date.looks like it's affected my braincells as well as i can't remember for sure the correct single.
This can't be true surely! What if you get the song on a "Best of the 70s" type compilation album - will it not play there either????

I suspect it isn't true but I think he was referring to the original acetate being sent back in time so it's vinyl copies that are affected.
