Pedestrian priority over turning cars at junctions. (please correct me if I'm mistaken which is posssible as being banned from driving I don't pay a lot of attention to motoring laws).

that came in in 2022 - nothing new in Jan 2024 that I can see that will affect the majority of ordinary motorists.

IME I still maintain that many drivers either are unaware of or choose to ignore this.

Not rubbing it in - just thought you had seen something I might have missed (me being so elderly!).

08:05 that's not new and it's not a law. It has always been the case that you should give way to anyone in the process of crossing road into which you are turning. Not surprisingly this is largely unknown by motorists who tend to get into a tizzy. Most of the Highway code is not law.

The change was the addition of "waiting to cross".
