Bbc Quiz : Week 40

I managed a reasonable start this week, with FIVE out of seven in the main quiz:

However I could only score TWO out of five in the junior one:

^^^ There was a time, Arky, when I would have known the answer to almost any cricket question but I'm almost totally out of touch with the sport these days.  (I think that it's something called 'old age'!)

Puss Puss has decided it is cold, Bailey is in an odd mood this week, haven't told them I am off to Birmingham to go to a conference this week but maybe they have sensed something is up...Don't think they will be overly impressed if I bring them a free pen back. Given that we've got the same aggregate score this week, 10CS, if you end up at the back of the class, you'll probably have me there for company anyway 😊

Conference venues should give out cat treats, so that delegates can do their best to apologise to their feline masters when they get home 🐈

(The best conference I ever went to was at the University of Adelaide.  'Happy Hour', with unlimited free booze, was only meant to last for exactly one hour per day but it generally went on for at least three hours.  Strangely, I don't remember much about the actual content of the conference!)

Tablo has also decided that it's cold.  Trying to get to sleep, with her curled up on my shoulder all night long, is proving to rather difficult at times!
