no way
Shouldn't you be more concerned that the child was doing something to have the phone confiscated?
I agree with spainlads, obviously the phone was confiscated for misuse in some way. The teacher was probably checking to see what exactly was going on, rudness/cheating etc. Why jump on the techers back when obviously the child was doing something to warrant the attention.

Sorry I am not one of those mums.It was fair that the teacher took the phone away as he should not of had it on.Would someone just answer the question without giving me a lecture?I was told by one teacher friend that the only time teachers are allowed to look through a phone is if there is evidence of bullying and that was definitely not the case!It was my old phone and could of had personal stuff on it.I am sure they don't read messages if they conviscate phones at school! I always respect teachers and support them and have had no trouble before. There are too meny parents who defend their children even if their kids are wrong,I am not one of them!
