Thank you for your suggestions,Redtrev and Douglas9401.   Happy to use both of them!   Can I just say that the title of this general knowledge quiz was actually ‘October Quiz’ but I don’t want ever to contravene the rules so am grateful, Bluebell56, for you keeping me right.
