How Many Socks Are Too Many?? Lol.

Just clearing out a couple of bedroom drawers and got all my socks out(mainly trainer socks). Now there are only 7 days in a week so is 23 pairs too many?? There's varying coulours but no idea why as I always tend to pick either black or white! I just hate throwing perfectly good things out, yet they're taking up too much room.

So how many pairs do you reckon you've got??

(Mind you I just glanced at MrSmows pile and if he's got less than 45 I'll be amazed!)

In total, maybe 35 pairs?  I'd guess that 10 or so of those pairs have at least one sock that's holey.

Ahhh the missing socks! I always pair mine up when they go into the wash basket so logically when I then take the washing down to the machine they shud all be in pairs already. Thats the theory anyway lol!

Throw out the holey socks! Release them lol : )

I have this problem and next time I go to our recycling centre, I'm going to take 15 pairs of socks and put them in the Past Wearable container.....

I've got loads of socks. I've found a very nice brand and give them to family and friends at Christmas. But I can never find a pair for myself. I usually wear odd ones when I'm in the house.

I knit socks, they go down very well with the menfolk in my life. Actually, a lot of the ladies like them too. I don't think I've ever misplaced one of them. I guess I must have about 40 pairs, and a similar amount in my 'gifting box'. I'll give you three guesses what I CANT do at the moment.

Like to add none have holes in except where I put ones foot in, no odd ones either after they've served their purpose and time most get promoted to being rags.
