Couldn't sleep so got up at 6.30am, made tea n toast and took it back to bed. Read stuff on iPad for a bit then fell asleep again for an hour. Now faffing about whilst it's grey n dark outside. Todays 'job' Will be building a flat pack 5 shelf metal shelving unit for my office!! Should be fun lol!

Good Morning Smow and followers .. blue sky and sunshine here though it could change very quickly.  Have you ever tried a pillow spray (Feather & Down) ... a friend says it helps her get off to sleep.  Good luck with the shelving 😊x

Morning! Yep I've got sprays here, but the fact that I have zero sense of smell probably doesn't help lol.

Bright blue sky and sunshine here as well.  Been out for a 2.5 mile walk, legs getting used to the hills again now.  Stopped off at beach cafe for a coffee, sat outside with sun blazing down on us.  Heavenly!

Morning all (though that should be afternoon. Patchy cloud here  at the moment, it must have been colder than i thought overnight as there was condensation on the inside of the windows when I got up.

Sounds like a lovely morning coffee  ubasses, mild autumn days are special with the leaves turning gold

At least most of Europe now changes clocks at the same time, they didn't always!  We arrived an hour early for the ferry from Rotterdam, having driven from Germany where the clocks were due to go forward the coming Saturday.  As we checked in the man in the kiosk pointed at a NSF van and said Follow him!  We drove at great speed to the ferry whose ramp was just about to go up, it was almost the Dukes of Hazard, apparently the Dutch had put their clocks forward the weekend before!
