If trump loses, I predict a riot (armed uprising among the mental MAGA militia) – if he wins they will have installed a fascist dictator as president. Either way, interesting times ahead.
I dreamed that Trump won the election and shortly afterwards was assassinated by his right-wing backers, who then managed to put the blame on hard left Democrats. Unrest followed, and special measures were put in place to establish a temporary head of state (youger than Trump) and to maintain order; the measures were then renewed several times and the USA became an undemocratic dictatorship.
I've never had a dream which came true.
I find the fact that polling shows the US presidential race to be so close, strange.
Each party will have its die-hard voters who will vote for their party no matter what – but there are a whole lot of swing voters who might vote for either party, or not at all.
I would have thought that very few of these swing voters would vote for a nut-case to be their president.
Many religious leaders are voting for Trump and advising their followers to follow suit.
Again, earlier today on CCN a pastor was asked whether Trump being a criminal, convicted of 34 felony counts would affect his support – his curt reply to the question was to say ‘That was in the past’.
It’s good to see that the religious faithful are willing to forgive and forget.
