What Hobbies Do You Have?

I like crosswords, reading, sightseeing, cooking, walking through country parks. I might sound boring to some.

What sort of hobbies do you have? I am looking forward to hearing about the more weird and wonderful hobbies and, you never know, I might find a new one to try.

I spend a lot of my spare time doing family history (including genetic genealogy), mainly my own but I have done it for others and also done several talks and lectures, plus local and house history (and I mean record office research, not the useless hints chucked out by popular websites). Also cooking, gardening, bit of floristry (done several weddings and funerals and a couple of other events). I'm the most boring person I know!

And if that wasn't boring enough, I also collect georgian silver, particularly female silversmiths. I have quite a collection of strainer spoons (not just by females), which dealers love telling me are "very rare".

I only have a balcony now, but also quite a few houseplants, plus my orchids ( rather other people's orchids I look after between flowerings)

I am probably collector of hobbies if I am honest, teaching myself weaving at the moment
