Where has this week gone??
Had a busy eve last night with trick or treaters - all great fun and well behaved! I'd made over 50 chocolate Krispy cakes, plus 2 large Quality street tubs which I'd filled with sweets, crisps, oranges etc , all went and I filled up one again lol. Fabulous costumes and all so polite. Glad it stayed dry for them all.
This morn I have a blood fasting test so I can't even have a cup of tea this morn till that's done - I'm desperate for one lol, but stuck here with just water : ( can't wait for a cuppa!
Whats everyone's Friday plans? Anything for this weekend? X

There was nothing here, I wondered if it was because we didn't put anything outside, but did not see or hear anything outside at all. Oh well food bank will be getting some treats next week.
Not much on today, Mr U has GP appointment, he got summoned 2 days after we moved in. Has to take urine sample, our old surgery did a full medication review before we left so a bit bemused. He hopes it is just his routine blood pressure .
I will go down with him but continue into town and meet up later for a coffee.
Morning ubasses. Even tho it's pretty busy where I live they have a great scheme for Halloween. They do a trail, (nobody has to follow it obv), but they have a long list of roads one which trick n treaters are welcome - you message your road name to them if ur happy to have people knock on your door - and they then put the roads into a kind of suggested order to follow and number them. So loads start at number one and basically follow the road numbers. Then they only knock on lit up houses with something outside. Works really well.
Morning all. No trick or treaters here either. We may get the odd few fireworks let off by neighours this weekend but fortuneately the dog is not fazed by them. I cant be bothered going to an organised display even if there was one, though I do enjoy the firework displays around the world at New Year. I must say London does it well, the show is so clever.
We are expecting a sainsbury delivery but that is the extent of our highights for the day.
Have a happy day y'all
Good morning evryone. Relatively quiet night here, although I could hear fireworks going off in the distance, but it is Diwali isn't it?
I suppose I ought to get round to the garden this weekend and gathher some leaves up, but to be honest I have lost all interest. The garden never got sorted out from the appalling summer we had and it is very overgrown. Just can't summon the energy.
Hope evryone has a good weekend, at least it is not raining!
Morning everyone again. Yes we had a lot of fireworks going off too, but as said it's also Diwali.
Hoping I'm not sat about waiting for ages for this blood test this morn (leaving soon) as then have neurologist app at 2.30. They've squeezed me in after a complaint from my doctor so cannot be late.
guess by the time I've seen him and got home it will probably be dark!
