It happened on Sunday Tilly. Regarding the lovely drinks you mention, I'm afraid I can't keep food or drink down as it finds its way out within minutes, one way or the other. This has been going on for days. My doctor is working to get me sorted. You have made my mouth water so as soon as I'm better I shall enjoy a hot chocolate.  Hope all is well wih you.

Aww, LB, so sorry you're going through this tough time. Let's Hope you can soon keep food & drinks down. Perhaps you picked up a bug? I Hope not too much damage was done to your nose. At least you can put your glasses on...Can you at least sip water? Wishing you a speedy recovery x

Thank you Patsy and Gulliver.  I'm sipping water all the time.  Just went to the fridge to get some more and OMG the lovely food in there I want to grab. Delicious sausage rolls, little strawberry trifles, I am so hungry. 

Do you reckon it would be OK to have a roll and a trifle;-))

WHY did you fall?

An elderly gent I knew had several falls and was found to have low blood pressure. He broke his arm, ended up in hospial then a nursing home. It was very sad as he had been very independent & active previously, even in his 90s.

I tripped over the edge of my carpet Dave.  It was really odd, like slow motion as I went down.  I do take BP tabs daily and have a BP machine.  Must get some new batteries for it.  I can't go anywhere while I have my little dog.  He was passed pillow to post over so many ears and is now a happy boy with me and friends.
