Good morning, another very Matakari-friendly offering from DOC this week, this time with a great sweet-tooth element. I enjoyed it.

Glad one of us enjoyed it, Matakari - I thought it was dire!

PS Have you given up on EV, you don't seem to return to those threads now?

Many thanks, NACW, Doc was very straightforward, I admit, but I discovered many a sweet bar. I managed to complete the EV although I did not find the poem. And I’m close to ending the Eye Crossword except for the last three clues for which I would appreciate some help.

24a  In the middle of one, Gnome all but flips (5)  : ??O??  ( TROLL )
22d  Son, wallowing in hock, gets a cab (6) : ?T?S?M
25d House before Yvette's last clanger (5) : L?F?E

25d Gaff(house) + (yvett)e

22d Hansom (son amag in ham)

Spec 19a though...pushing it a bit re: the theme, imo.

24d among (in the middle of) = a(one) = mong (gnom(e) reversed)

Thanks, jj109, I should have seen 24a, it looks so clear now! Can you say now the title of the poem for the last EV, thanks?

Thanks, Matakari. The poem is 'November'.

No - Vember

Does anyone have a link to the EV crossword please? I'm all out of crosswords.

Tilly2, the link was posted on Sunday....

Fleshpots rather than the biscuit 19a is actually a theme word made by Cadbury's and is very tasty, one of my favourites that I can actually get here in Thailand!

I've never seen that before, it looks nice :)p

I can't find it, NAC.

Thanks, Captain2.

Thank you, Capt. How do I print that ?

I have another source for the EV, Tilly.

However, I've just tried 'download original image' at the top of the page; then gone to 'downloads' (top right hand corner), opened the download and got a printable image.

Thank you again, Capt. Done it now. x

6D Philosopher, surprisingly inane, for ages (9)

7D Yankee airborne, flying around (6)
