Is there any way to force a phone to connect to a Bluetooth speaker if the speaker is already connected to another phone?

This means not disconnecting the connected phone first, but forcing a disconnect with another phone and then connecting the second phone.

I'm not that knowledgeable but I reckon the easiest thing would be to disconnect the existing phone connection. Perhaps by turning it's bluetooth off ?

So, apart from that, no alternative that I am aware of. Unless you have access to the speaker controls/settings.

Back in the day when I was installing Bluetooth hands-free gubbins some equipment had the facility for prioritising one particular phone from the list of paired devices, going to the next on the list if the 'main' one was absent.

Is there a menu you can check?

No, the speaker doesn't have any settings that you can access, just an on/off switch. As O_G says, you can disconnect the first phone, but I was hoping to find a way to connect the second phone without having to disconnect the first phone manually.

Then the answer is 'no'.
