11 Browder

25 Boutch

BROWDEN for embroidered in last tense - BROWDER for embroider in present tense

BOOTCH as variation of English botch - I believe BOUTCH is a spelling variation of BOOTCH as the original word

Still need help with 4a if anyone's solver it

Thanks to all who helped...  5D "a large vat" can't be KEIR, then-it's L?I?-nearly there!

and did anyone notice the compiler's error with 18a-the Glasgow station is QUEEN STREET not QUEENS STREET.

Deffo finding references to BROWDEN for 'embroidered' in past tense, while finding BRAWDER for present tense 'to embroider'.

Also searches for BOOTCH are giving results equating to 'muddle' - showing BOUTCH as alternative spelling. but searches for BOUTCH not getting results at all. Anyone found anything that may contradict?

Correction that should read BROWDER as the present tense of 'to embroider' and BROWDEN as the past tense of 'embroidered'
