You're lucky Canary. At the store where I work we've had Christmas trees and wreaths since Nov 5, mince pies since the middle of October, people asking for Stollen cake..... and that flippin' music too.

It must be nearly Christmas,Canary, they have started selling Easter eggs also.Mind you,i also bought my Halloween pumpkin for next year while i was down at Tescos.

They're also selling flour, milk and eggs - Pancake Day is months away.

It does my head in! Wouldn't be so bad if it was a week before Xmas...

.

Yes,they are not shy,Canary.Cheeky money-scrubbing b*gg*rs.

There are 12 days of Christmas..........but none of them are in

£$%^&(*!&£ November!!!

the Christmas Movie channel has been screening since September, as usual. (I think it's just the Romance channel for the other four months.)

Not just the Movie Channel...I see them whenever I scroll through freeview. There's also Christmas cookery shows galore. All for those who are obsessed with starting early and making their holiday *perfect*.🦃🐔🌲

Channel Five has been showing a Christmas film every afternoon from the end of October.  From tomorrow it's TWO Christmas films every weekday afternoon!

If I go into a shop where Christmas music is playing, I don't hang around. Buy what I need and go.

On the subject of shopping, is anyone else totally hacked off by being referred to as "footfall" . What is wrong with "customer" which suggests a little more respect rather than the former which shorthand for "pocket to be emptied"

Been playing locally for at least 2 weeks...  Death by Mariah Carey has  commenced ( chosen song, the person who can go longest without hearing it wins)

As everyone is making their voices heard in the streets and on social media, why aren't churches and other Christin followers making a massive outcry about one of their major celebrations being seriously and very crassly hijacked by big business and anyone else out to make a quick profit?

It's not xmas until Noddy Holder says it is!

Already heard that one!

The Ideal World shopping channel has had a Christmas tree in the background of its sets since the 19th October!

In an ideal world all shoppers should boycott buying Christmas goods until 4th December (3 weeks to go). It would be good to see the panic of big business when no-one is buying stuff.

Not an ideal world 'though is it?

I'll be in Spain when this country reaches peak hysteria over the fat man in red and hohohogmanay.

They've had Santa's grotto with eager little kiddies at the local garden centre along with copious decorations for at least three weeks. Quite nauseating.

Lucky you douglas. I wish I could escape all this overhyped hysteria bombarding me from all directions CONSTANTLY.

Please make it stop!!

I wonder if the Labour party will introduce a christmas windfall tax?
