What percentage of farmers have properties worth more than a million?

I would say most.

From the government website.

//The average net worth across all farms was £2.2 million in 2022/23 and 49% of farms had a net worth of at least £1.5 million.//

Defra figures show that the average farm is worth £2.2 million and 66 per cent are worth £1 million or more.

UK farmers should do to this government what the French would...

The fun and the bants on this site is off the scale.

I wonder if the 'worth' of farms uses the ordinary property value scale as a benchmark.

My firstborn is currently signing the next 35 years away on a mortgage for a glorified prefab with some blockwork attached on a new estate in our town. We're in thrall to the spivs selling the dream to a captive audience, see Hovels Under The Mallet and the crap that people pay top dollar for, encouraged by breathless talking heads on good wages.

'Worth' my bottom.
