Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Thanks, Matakari -'quite sweet' is one way of describing this one, it's not the phrase I would use! We seem to get only the occasional challenging puzzle now, a bit of a shame really.

I didn't mind a gentle puzzle this week seeing as it's so cold lol, but the same (sort-of) theme as Doc's one from a couple of week's back suggests they're struggling to come up with ideas.

Fleshpots, I really don't mind the easier puzzles, which maybe do bring in some new solvers, but I really miss any originality these days! And three out of the last four puzzles have been gentler ones, I'd like more of a balance too.

The easier puzzles are definitely starting to outnumber the more challenging ones. Editorial decision maybe? After all Doc is the boss, and his puzzles do tend to be the gentlest. Or maybe it's just random and a few easy ones have clustered together.

There is a marked lack of consistency with the difficulty level of the puzzles which makes one wonder, though.
