Are We Heading Towards Another Referendum?
I'm no political expert, but read between the lines, does Labour want us to re-join the EU?
And could it lead towards another referendum?
And hypothetically how do we think such a vote now would go?

"even if it was a mistake we cannot rejoin, the preconditions would be so harsh that even the remoaners would baulk at it."
i agree
" I don't know anyone who voted Leave and regrets it. Not one"
it is possible that some people aren't telling you the truth about what they think naomi. i often do not tell people (especially family) what my opinions are and nod along with whatever they say because i don't want to have an argument with them. if it seems like everyone around you is in total agreement about something then there is a strong possibility that someone isn't being honest with you.
one friend of mind (a middle aged british-israeli) voted to leave and insists that he doesn't think this was wrong, but also thinks that the UK should rejoin. another one (an engineer from west london) voted leave because he thought we would join EFTA and was horrified when we didn't. he still wants us to do that. a woman in my immediate family says she regrets voting to leave because she thought it would be simpler and isn't sure how she would vote now.
i am against another referendum yes. if there was one then i am not sure how i would vote. on the one hand i have never agreed with brexit but on the other i truly do not want our political system to be clogged up with it for another three years. it would be a dilemma for me. fortunately i don't think it is very likely to happen... one of the few things i like about starmer is that he seems completely disinterested in reviving the issue.
Even the Governor of the Bank of England recently pointed out what an absolute disaster Brexit is for the UK economy.
To Brexiteers, Brexit is a cult that is sacrosanct – we just need to be patient and wait 50+ years for the promised sunlit uplands, prancing unicorns, cheaper foot-ware, clothing and food.

He didn't say that - it's just your warped interpretation!
//We will not be reversing Brexit, or re-entering the single market or customs union.//

/Most people think Brexit was a mistake//
Most people where?
in Britain. As with the Tories at election time, only the wrinklies think it, and they, were a good idea: 32% in this case.
