Why is Lammy making promises on behalf of France - cannot they make their own? In the event of a major conflict I think that France would revert to 1939 status.

I'm off to buy shares in white flags then.

The only thing Lammy could promise to do is clear the table of all the pies.

Useless tub of lard.

The fire sides will be laughing their chaussettes off!

"qui est ce type qui pense pouvoir parler pour nous ?"

Il etes une vielle catin.

(Saw in on a bog wall in Bruxelles, apparenty a big slight especially if said to a bloke).

Presumably they have discussed it.

If proof were needed about the lack of quality in Labour, you really only have to look at Lammy. Throw in Starmer, Cooper, Poundland Barbie and Rachel from accounts into the mix and it becomes even clearer they are not fit for purpose.

And they had the gall to say the grown-ups are now in charge. Irony clearly isn't a strong point with these no-marks.

The piece is written by David Lammy and Jean-Noël Barrot who is Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France so it can be presumed the text was agreed by both of them.

wonder if lammy asked about french reparations for their part in slavery..

What is your problem with maintaining good relationships with the allies we still have?

Honestly. Do you bozos still think we have an empire that we can call upon to fight on the eastern front for us?

Gawd elp us.

You seem a bit aggressive yourself mate. Have a go at addressing my point, if you understood it.

just out of interest. What do you suppose would happen in the event of a major conflict if France weren't on our side?

I can't wait to hear.
