I am glad that dave50 and some others understand that there really is a tiny number of people who have gender dysmorphia. I can vouch (painfully) for that. They need help and understanding.
It is to their detriment that others have seized on their problems. This is now the question - where are the demarkation lines? How to phrase it?
I dislike as much as any woman (I'm happily admitting to being a woman by the way) the way that weirdos are being permited access to our world and achievements.
My dear H, who was born female but transitioned, beginning aged 28 when the full brain and body had matured, went through the hormones and surgery and seemed to be succeeding - even won a 'Non-specific Gender' category cycle race - before he killed himself nearly 3 years ago.
How can we reconcile these extremes? I want women to have safe spaces - I want the few, like H. - to be understood. It is a toughie.
