Already nasty out there, rain and wind gusts up to 60 mph .....tomorrow lunchtime being forecast to be the worst down here.
Take care of yourselves if you are lifting up the west side of Britain and esp. in Wales and the Severn Estuary/Bristol Channel.

The wind is due to swing around to come from a Westerly direction in the next hour or so and from the North by about 3AM. Then it will be blowing hard. It is going to be much worse though on the NW Anglesey coast and down on the LLyn. Would not like to be out there tonight.
As I intimated earlier. It is not the storm as such that bothers us but the prospect of damage to the power systems. The utility structures are pretty robust up here after decades of hard lessons up in the exposed high ground areas but the risk is always high. It is not nice to be without electrickery for a day or so, now we are getting older, and the thaassands of bleedin windmills are inoperable when it is "too windy".
