How do I get my Christmas pudding out of the cloth without boiling it? It has been hanging for a month and the cloth has developed a hole in it so I can't boil it. It is too large to fit in a steamer with the cloth attached.  Can I just wrap it in a second cloth?  Any help appreciated.

Yes, wrap the whole thing in another cloth.

As the pudding is already cooked and just needs reheating, you could reheat it in a microwave.  This works very well for Christmas puddings but because it is very high in dried fruit and sugar it doesn't take long, so keep an eye on it.

Microwave for sure, just a couple of minutes is needed.
