No strings, no obligation.

The only conditions are you must spend it all on things you want, not need and you cannot save it or give it away.

What would you buy?

I am struggling to think of anything.

Barry, my hints generally fall on deaf ears.

A Maine Coon cat...and a groomer to brush him. A few holidays with someone to carry my bags.

All my other wants are also needs.

I know you won't let me give it away but am I allowed to spend it on the extended family?
I'd buy tickets for something everyone would love to see, either theatre or sporting event maybe and book a massive house for us all to stay in for the night. I might have a few bob left over for some eggs for breakfast!

Tick some things off the bucket list

Trip to see northern lights

Trip to see a few volcanoes probably around the med.

And I would buy a Mont blanc fountain pen, always wanted one and my Parker leaks.

Clothes.

Mont Blanc pen, I wasn't expecting that. I agree it is the sort of thing I wouldn't dream of buying for myself but would for a loved one.

Some things are meant to be gifts, not self indulgences in my opinion.

Travel is always a good experience, unless it's a nightmare

Wouldn't it be lovely to travel like Portillo does, with a bag carrier but without the cameras.

diamond nose stud

A chauffeur and car - the thing I miss most since my ban, especially as privatised public transport is the pits.

Rowan...my daughter did a tour of volcanos in Sicily over the summer. She found it both exhilarating and terrifying (heights, wind, very narrow walkways)...her partner was in her grip at certain points.

I had a Mont Blanc fountain pen. I gave it to my nephew. He's a barrister and was quite pleased.

That would go a fair way to paying the balances of the four city breaks I have booked for next year.

I would have a break / experience any day over a material gift.

I'd have flying lessons.

Its not eneough to actually get a pilots license but having

had one flying lesson many years ago (plus I love flying) it would be money well spent.

I'd take a few friends/family members to Paris for the Prix de lArc De Triomphe at Longchamp on 5th October next year.

:) These replies are cheering up a very dull day, thank you

Would have the living room redecorated, recarpeted and new sofas. It really needs doing but with dog the age he is, and being a bit of a puker we cant justify spending the money to get it done only to be worried he'd mess it up.

If we had the money and had to spend it, that's defo what I'd do.

Failing that, with two family weddings in the offing, a couple of nice outfits wouldn't go amiss.
