Has anyone any idea how to get a whole tin of gloss paint of my floorboards? That was an accident and a half...

scoop the thick of it back into the tin then rub it with cloths soaked in turps.you may need a few cloths though!

Thanks lostboy. I did get as much back as i could. It's off to B&Q for me for turps tomorrow.
Not wanting to put a spanner into your plans but, would using an abundance of turps not cause the paint traces to soak further into the wood?

I am not sure but it may be better to let the paint that's left dry properly and sand it off.
