o god someone has realised that unlawful does not mean taboo
one of the usual suspects used 'verboten' and got scrubbed. So I used the Dutch word "Verboden" and gor scrubbed
so I laughed all the way to the Editor that "verboten" was the language of the aggressor ( very 1945) and verboden was a word from one of the conquered nations
It seems also rather obvious that taboo words are er taboo in some cultures and not in others. Afroocaribbean slang knee-jare( is used as an abusive word but we are not allowed to use it. Extra £100 fine if you use it to a policeman who is arresting you. taboo meats: we eat Beef, Hindus dont. Pork we eat it but muslims dont)
why do we need more than three words for 'taboo' ?
chh 5 tonight - "30 complained about progs" 22-=2300
redolent with cultural sociology - taboo words to some ( they complain and tell you why) and the con-complainers er dont complain
they even have time sensitive taboos - not taboo then but taboo then
and across societies - white as a taboo word - well bad luck is is the defn of IC1
they even have taboo by place - some girl 'has' to take sparm sample from a pig. ugh!!! say all the London wokies
all ignored by the fluffies making the prog
they even have time sensitive taboos - not taboo then but taboo now
yup even on AB

you see an accepted word 2019
and 2024 scream scream scream for one of the usual suspects. Lardy Lardy I know I was the one who got zapped
how AB has improved ! how wise our mods are !
