Shooting Guns

 Yesterday evening my son came over with my grandaughter for a few hours. The plan was to let my granddaughter ride her new bike at a local park and then feed the ducks with a loaf that I had just bought.

However,,,,

As my grandaughter was getting used to her new bike, we saw 3 lads with a gun shooting the ducks on the lake.

Quickly got my granddaughter back in the car and why my son was driving I got on the phone to the police to report that a gun was been used in a public place.

The lads then walked off and we followed while giving the police a commentary of where they/we were.

It was 15 minutes before we met up with a patrol car, by which time we had lost them (ally way, terraced houses)

 

Policeman & policewoman. Both recognised me and both said that they have arrested me in the past. Couldnt give a xxxx. Theres lads with a bloody gun around here. "We'll make some inquires"

 

Is this taking the proverbial?

15 minutes to respond to a report of a gun been fired when theres kids (my 3 yr old granddaughter) around and then just casually dismiss it.

Any ABers on here that are on my FB can see a little of the video footage that we got of the incident but the police just didnt seem bothered.

 

Maybe I should have typed some hurty, offensive words on the internet and then the plod would have responded sooner????

ATHEIST, regardless of an individual witness' reputation, there was at least one other witness and more importantly, video evidence to support the allegation.

Are YOU being serious?

So I'm known to local plod as someone who gets lifted for being a bit Brahms at times (I'm turning into 3T here 😁) But my son was also there.

And I would expect any police to take seriously the report of guns been fired in public whether or not the reporte was known to them.

 

As an update, the local rag has been in touch with both my son and myself this afternoon after video footage was sent to them.

Hopefully, this might do more to catch these scumbags than the police are preparared to do.

BTW, they were young, white, British lads. So no cultural stuff involved.

I really don't get this comment either, why on earth would that make any difference in this type of incident?

Im really tempted to give a post (video) here of what happened but how can I do that without giving my I.D. away?

If they do then local Plod will be targetting you, but I'm sure you realise that.
