I used to really dislike him a lot, but he has kind of grown on me. I still find his gratuitous nastiness to callers unpleasant, but I admire his skill as a broadcaster.

I agree with your bf joeygreen. I have given him chance after chance and he doesn't gel with me. Maybe it's me but I find his broadcasting style inane, tedious and repetitive. He is trying to be something he ain't.

He is like Marmite - I can understand why people dislike him, but I love listening to him. I laugh driving all the way to work everyday morning.

I cant stand Celebity Tarzan though. It grates.

I used to find him really funny, but now in that 20 mins I am in the car in the morning I want to listen to some happy wake me up tunes, not him gassing. Someone might explain this actually, but why doesn't he play music between 7 and quarter past?!

I like listening to him but dislike the music, so listen to Radio 2, I feel its like the Radio 1 I used to love.

its a love/hate thing with chris moyles, sometimes he can be spot on with the jokes and sometimes you can tell he's loosing the plot, thank god for 'comedy' dave and his input...

i can't stand him!
especially since he was on X factor.
He's always slagged off celebs that do that kind of thing - but in the end, he took it just as seriously as everyone else.
What are his broadcasting "skills"? I wonder what his show would be like without his posse to argue with.
(I wouldn't listen at all, but my husband has the radio alarm on his side of the bed!)

natalie 1982 you may be on to something there - that is when I had him on in the bathroom! I could never understand where all the music went. Switched to radio 2, at 6.45 they go through the papers. No music either but it sets me up for the day, knowing what is going on.
