"In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful:

All Praise is due to Allah, Lord of the Universe

The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Owner of the Day of Judgement.

You alone do we worship, and You alone we turn to for help

Guide us to the straight path;

The path of those on whom You have bestowed your grace, not (the way) of those who have earned Your anger, nor of those who went astray."

Does anyone notice one or two contradictions there?

And the Bible...

1. “I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before Me." (Exodus 20:2-3)

2. “You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments." (Exodus 20:4-6)

3. “You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain." (Exodus 20:7)

Not much difference between the two gods, is there?

They are both translations of the actual ncient tracts, therefore not entirely reliable.

But nevertheless a very valid point, I don't believe Buddha was of such a vindictive nature.

There's a reason for that.

I'm more powerful than the pair of them.

Prove me wrong.

Acts 4:12 "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."
Of the options you have listed, only one provides authentication that He is genuine. As Christians, we realize that by raising Christ from the dead to die no more, God has confirmed His authentic plan for victory over death.
Acts 17:31 "...he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead."
God is perfect, and his gifts and workings are perfect. His son, Jesus Christ, is dependable and trustworthy, and God's communication to us in the scriptures is of utmost consistency. All else in life and creation is fallible.
Romans 3:4 "…yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings…"

The Torah is very similar, too.

The three Abrahamic religions, of course there are similarities, they have the same roots.

"Tell the people what they yearn to hear, and they will follow you to the ends of the earth"

Guide to Marketing, Chapter 1, line 45

There is no authentication in any of it.  The reason there are similarities between the Bible and the Koran and in the Gods spoken of therein is because the Koran was based on the Bible - the Gods one and the same.

Not much difference between the two gods, is there?

There are not, "two gods" only one, & he* is ineffable.

*used in a broad sense.

What's your point?

And the Bible is based on the Torah

No Barry. The Torah is the first five books of the Old Testament.  Mohammed used the whole of the scriptures - old and new - in constructing the Koran and adopted all the prophets, including Jesus, in the process.

What about the Apocrypha ?

What about it?

It's one thing to be an atheist out of knowledge & conviction & another out of unfamiliarity & ignorance. 🙄

What are you talking about, khandro?

So I guess the evolution of Islam and Christianity from a single entity is no different from (except a lot later) that of CofE and RC, or that of Sunni and Shia ?

/// What about the Apocrypha ?///

Forget that, I've just googled it.

That's what I meant, the Torah is the foundation of the Bible. Christianity and Islam came after Judaism

Islam didn't 'evolve'.  It was constructed.

^that to canary.
